A Year in Review + College Acceptance

My motto for 2015.  This year has been an interesting one! So, here is a quick review of what has happened over the past 12 months of my oh-so interesting life. JANUARY: I started my second semester at MWCC, taking classes that were more relevant to my major. FEBRUARY: I turned 17 and got asked to church prom, on the same night in which I had a surprise birthday party! MARCH: I went to Michigan with my mom to visit my brother and sister-in-law. APRIL: Prom month once again. Cherish and I got ready together which was really fun. Here are some pictures below. prom 2k15 MAY: Finally finished my second semester of college/my junior year. I also ran my first 5k! I figured my next step would be a 10k, but so far I've never run further than 6.5 miles. And that was once. And then I took a two month long break on running. So, there's that. Cherish left which was sad, and I became an only child once again. But I am grateful for the internet and text messaging. And Snapc...

Vacation and More

Recently I've returned from the usual 2 week New Hampshire trip. We had to go extra early in the summer due to the fact that I have classes starting next Monday (*cries*). Until then, I have one more day of freedom, Youth Conference, and Sunday before I start waking up before 7:30am. I'm only excited because it now means I don't ever have to take gym for the rest of my life, and it's only a month and a half of going to class 2-3 days a week, 4 hours a day. New Hampshire was good, though, and I enjoyed it for the most part. After Cherish left I was pretty lonely, but I managed to do a boatload of homework while my parents worked on the house. I did some tests and quizzes. My parents and I went to Castle in the Clouds (the coolest/prettiest house-mansion I've ever seen). One day my mom and I went out to pick fabric for a quilt she'll make for me. We played some games and watched a lot of Criminal Minds at night. I ran most mornings, doing 3-4 miles after the firs...

One for the Books

So 2014 was quite the year. I guess I'll do a quick recap of the past 12 months in case anyone is even remotely interested in my adventurous life. I'll add pictures to make everything better. JANUARY: At the end of the month once the semester was over I jumped out of one school and hopped into an old/new one. I made new friends and reconnected with old ones, so that was really nice. David left on his mission which was sad but also amazing all at the same time. FEBRUARY: I finally turned 16 which meant I could finally date. I also got my permit after failing the test the first time... MARCH: Um, I'm sure something happened. APRIL: April was the month of prom.  My first one and I was pretty excited. :) MAY: ??? JUNE: I stepped foot onto GD floors for the last time. I wouldn't be returning for the next year as I would be a part of the MWCC Pathways graduating class of 2016. JULY: Youth conference happened and that was truly a great experience. Everyone worked...

Vacation's Over... So What's Next?

My two weeks were super fun. I hung out with my cousin almost everyday and I finally have a room. My walls are all painted! One wall is red and the others are beige (although it turned out a little more grey... I call it greige). I got to spend some time with my parents, which was great. My favorite dog ever, Bella, got to sleep near me on her bed every night too. She's literally my favorite dog out of all the other ones I have ever owned (sorry).  I'm sad it's all over but at least I'm back at my real home with real floors and ceilings. The NH house does look great and my parents worked incredibly hard everyday to get it to where it is currently. I'm grateful for them and their hard work. It has come so  far. So, as you've seen, I've taken a lot of pictures with my cousin within the last two weeks. It seemed like almost everywhere we went we were asking our moms to take pictures of us. One of our last pictures together for a while came from our adventure...

"...And We Danced All Night to the Best Song Ever..."

The concert last night was a ton of fun. It was incredibly loud and afterwards my voice was kind of gone. We listened to some 5 Seconds of Summer beforehand. When they were done performing there were music videos playing on the big screens. We waited and waited and finally the lights turned down and all we heard were thousands of screaming people all around us . It was wicked cool.  We had good seats. Gillette Stadium is flipping huge  and tall . I was scared for the people all the way up at the very top. I was amazed at how close we kind of were. I mean, we weren't on the floor, but we were on the bottom right near the floor... which is pretty awesome. And with the big screens, you could still see all of One Direction's faces... It's weird to think that only 24 hours ago we were just leaving. Here's some pictures from last night. Waiting... at least there were music videos for entertainment. I'll admit that I enjoyed 5 Seconds of Summer. Dang . I ...
