One for the Books

So 2014 was quite the year. I guess I'll do a quick recap of the past 12 months in case anyone is even remotely interested in my adventurous life. I'll add pictures to make everything better.
JANUARY: At the end of the month once the semester was over I jumped out of one school and hopped into an old/new one. I made new friends and reconnected with old ones, so that was really nice. David left on his mission which was sad but also amazing all at the same time.
FEBRUARY: I finally turned 16 which meant I could finally date. I also got my permit after failing the test the first time...
MARCH: Um, I'm sure something happened.
APRIL: April was the month of prom. My first one and I was pretty excited.
:)
MAY: ???
JUNE: I stepped foot onto GD floors for the last time. I wouldn't be returning for the next year as I would be a part of the MWCC Pathways graduating class of 2016.
JULY: Youth conference happened and that was truly a great experience. Everyone worked so hard and it turned out amazing. It's also the month I went to Maine with my mom and it was such a good time. I also went to EFY in July which was absolutely amazing. There were so many youth and there was also AC in the dorms <3. In July I got my first car!! It was a pretty busy, fun-filled month.

All I have is a picture of the girls from my company, but just basically double this and that was our whole company, More Glorious. Utah is the place to be for EFY.

Marginal Way in Maine. Camping out with my mama was a blast.

AUGUST: We went to New Hampshire for two weeks. I spent days with my cousin. We went to a One Direction concert in which I lost my voice for a short while afterwards. I recorded much of August in multiple blog posts, so if you're interested in what Maggie did with her life during those months, just look to the side.

How embarrassing... but it was wicked fun and I was pretty happy in the moment.

Awww

SEPTEMBER: I started my first semester as a full time college student at Mount Wachusett Community College. I was nervous at first, but ended up making friends pretty quickly. It was the beginning of an amazing experience. I also GOT MY LICENSE and was free to drive myself... to school everyday. We also got a new puppy!

sisters. :)

OCTOBER: I'm sure something happened this month... Halloween?
NOVEMBER: We spent our Thanksgiving at home, which was actually pretty nice. It was great to be home with family.
DECEMBER: Christmas came and went but it was really nice to have everyone home. Our house was pretty full and loud at points, but I'm not complaining. It was fun. We got to talk to David which was really nice. I also finished my first semester of college and didn't even fail or die.

Thumbs up.

2014 was pretty good. I'm happy with how things have gone. I went to three different schools within the same year, I got a car and license, a new dog, and multiple other things. I think I've grown a lot as a person. I've tried new things and really pushed myself more. I'm hoping that next year I'll push myself even more and continue to grow. I'm excited for what 2015 has to hold, both good and bad.
One thing I want to especially remember next year is this:
"Exist to be happy, not to impress."
Quite simply, I want to remember that my life isn't supposed to be around trying to impress other people. It's not all about the things I wear and how I look. I think this quote will be my new motto for 2015.
