Fall Things

Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I love the fact that the leaves change color. Driving on the highway and seeing all of the different colors is the main highlight when driving twenty minutes on the highway everyday. The leaves are a lot further along than ours are here at home, but it'll come along. As I think about fall, I've also made a list of some of my all time favorite "Fall Things".
1.) Sweaters. Sweatshirts. Cardigans. I love them all. They're all just so cozy.
2.) Boots. Let me tell you. I love shoes. I love Vans as a comfy sneaker thing, but I love boots for the fall and winter. I have this one pair that I've had for a little over a year and they're worn down on the heel and there's a circle of leather torn off. BUT, they're my favorite and will remain my favorite. I will wear them until they have literal holes in them or the heel is non-existent. Or, I find a newer pair that is the exact same.

Here's a mix of boots, hot chocolate, pants, leaves, and a bit of a cardigan.
3.) Hot chocolate. Specifically salted caramel and dark chocolate. Oh my flipping heck. I literally am in love with both of these flavors of hot chocolate and nothing about that will ever change.

Dark chocolate hot chocolate while writing a book. What more could you want?
4.) Pellet stoves. On a really cold day the pellet stove gets turned on. When watching TV or just wanting to stand, that's where I go. It's very warm. In fact, once it gets even colder my mother and I regularly stand there (most of the time squeezing together by it). When the cold seasons end, I feel a little lost and I've found myself standing there for no reason because there's no heat and it's Spring.
5.) Pinterest. I love it all the time, but I specifically enjoy the fall themed clothes repinned, the shoes, and the pumpkin flavored foods.
6.) Pants. Honestly, I wore pants a lot this summer (which is why my legs are so pale). Nevertheless, they never loose the fact that they are another one of my favorite articles of clothing. And in the fall, I rarely have to feel like I'm about to overheat because I'm stuck in skinny jeans.
7.) Apples. Apple cider. Apple picking. Just... apples.
8.) Leaves. There was this one tree right outside the college that was this gorgeous bright orange, but I never got a picture of it. Instead I got a replacement one right across from where I park now (only because I got a warning from where I used to park). It was still pretty bright and you get the basic idea.

Enjoy the bad quality of my phone's pictures.
I felt judged as cars drove by me as I took this picture. But it was for the blog, so who cares?
The leaves in New Hampshire "peaked" last week but we missed it. Fortunately, they still looked pretty good across the lake and reflecting into it.

I may not always enjoy coming up here so often, but I can never deny how beautiful it is.
9.) Fall/Halloween themed things. New Hampshire is so cute. There were a bunch of pumpkins dressed as people all over. Some were decently creepy but many were cute. There was also this huge witch made out of hay, cornstalks, corn, and pumpkins.

That's the holiday spirit.
10.) Living in the woods. While we have neighbors very close to us on either side in New Hampshire, we have some nice big trees around us, too. The leaves and pine needles cover our driveway and everything else around the house. I was watching my dogs run around yesterday and heard the leaves crunch, crunch, crunch when they ran. I also got some cute pictures and am looking for an excuse to show them to someone.

Mia is the cutest puppy I have laid eyes on.
Bella is too. I just really love both of my dogs.

Look at that face. Runnin', ears floppin', couldn't be happier.
Fall is one of my favorites. It may get really cold and I don't really enjoy being cold, but there are just so many great things about fall. I like October so this post's quote is:
"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."
Stay warm!
