One Year

Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of Adjusting Focus! I can't believe that a year ago I started this little blog. It all started because I saw other blogs and thought that it would be cool to start one of my own. I love writing, and I wanted to share my ideas and thoughts about things with other people. I wasn't sure what I was going to write about, or what I wanted my focus to be. I Googled ways to start a blog. I thought of all all these ideas, but I just needed one thing for my blog to focus on. I even looked at my Pinterest quote board to find some inspiration there. I finally settled on the quote, "When life gets blurry, adjust your focus." It was then that I decided to have my blog focus on finding the good and positive, even when life gets a little 'blurry'. I turned it into a Personal Progress project and now... Here we are.
I have used the quote as a reminder to find the good in the bad. It's helped me stay more positive. When something isn't going how I want it to, or I feel down about something, I say the quote in my head. I've found it's helped me a lot.

I feel my posts have grown and I've written about some things that are really personal and important to me. It's through my writing that I feel I have grown and learned to express myself better. I feel as though I have been able to touch other people through my writing as well.
When I first started this blog, I didn't see the growth that would happen in the future. I never imagined that it would grow to this thing where I would open up to others and express myself more than I had before. I hope that people can see more of the person I am. I have opinions, ideas, thoughts, and feelings. 

I hope to be able to continue this journey and grow even more. I want to continue expressing myself through writing and share with others. I hope that someday this blog can expand even more, and perhaps someday, others will be involved.
Thank you to everyone for the support, and for those who read my blog posts. I know not all of them are super serious and very exciting, sometimes they just talk about my life, and there's always some quote in the end, but some of them talk about serious matters, and I'm glad I have the chance to write about both. I have loved this blog.

I have a love for writing, and I know I'm not the best at it, but I hope to be able to continue to grow. I hope to have this blog for years and years to come. It has become a part of my life and an experience I will always cherish.
