Once again I haven't written a post in a while. I'm not perfect. So with the slight fear that I won't get to writing again for the remainder of the month (we'll see), I'll quickly write this one.
You see, not much has happened in my life recently, at least, nothing to report that's of much interest to anyone. I've been waking up, going to seminary, school, volunteering on Tuesdays, running, doing homework, sleeping, and the cycle starts over again. Oh, I'll eat in between those activities, too. I have mutual and piano as well. But still, not too much.
Last week I did have spring break which was obviously full of partying and reckless behavior. Or not. I actually spent half of it at home and watching TV, running, and eating. For the second half I went to Michigan with my mom to see my brother and sister-in-law. It was really nice to see them and spend time with the two (three? Baby #1). It was also nice because the week before we got to see Mikey and Meg during their spring break.
There was no snow in Michigan which was wicked nice. I really enjoyed Ann Arbor and being in the midst of young people. It was funny (or maybe not funny in a "haha" sort of way...) because I myself am a college kid but in a way I'm not really. Like, I felt like I was as old as some of the people who were freshman in their undergrad programs, but at the same time I'm actually not. I am much younger. It's a weird thing to be in the middle of two things.
Overall, it's been pretty good lately. I'm finally able to run outside the majority of the time, which is pretty rad. Running on the treadmill was starting to be a drag. Although, currently I'm really pushing myself to keep up the running habit. If I don't continue though, I'll never do it again...
School is... School. I have some work to get done, but it hasn't been extremely hard. My classes are all pretty prime. I like all of my professors.

Once again things haven't been too bad. I guess there was a period of time where things felt a little rocky, but it seems that some of the biggest "hindrances" in life have come to a nice close. And I've been learning to try and take things a day at a time. Although part of me just wants the school year to be over (or even further in the future, my graduations to come), I realize that once that comes, I'll be a senior in high school, or, as far as graduation goes, I'll be attending a bigger university far from home. Both have their pros and cons. So I'm going to continue to just live in the moment as best as I can.
Today's quote:
So, that's today's blog post. I'll try my hardest to fit in another one before the month ends... If I find something meaningful to talk about or if something super exciting happens. We'll see. One day at a time. I'll just relish in my days of calm while I can.
