An Undramatic Trip to the ER... + AGT + Laughter

Last night I was on the floor trying to play with my dog. I called her name and she turned around, quickly looked at me, and raised her paw to my face. She hit me right in the eye and I whipped my hands towards my face and curled up. For a second I was scared that when I opened my eyes, I wouldn't be able to see anything. When I raised my head, I was incredibly glad to find my eyesight was still there. I went over to my mom. I took out my contact to find that my dog's toenail had poked right through it. We figured I was lucky that I had my contacts in because what happened to it could have happened to my eye.
Later today my mom and I finally made the decision to go to the emergency room. Nothing serious happened, which I was grateful for. There's just some redness in one corner of my eye, but I should be all better in a couple of days. I've been instructed to wear glasses, much to my dismay, but I'll live.
Besides that adventure, I made an attempt to catch up on America's Got Talent, one of my all time favorite TV shows. It amazes me all of the different talents that people have. I also love watching the judges.
I ended my night with spending time with my favorite group of girls (although some were missing) at mutual tonight playing "Minute to Win It" games. I attempted a split in order to pick up a bag with my teeth.... It was a wicked fun time. I'm eternally grateful for these amazing group of Young Women and our leaders. They truly inspire me and I always have a good time with them.
I've decided as of right now that I will share quotes everyday that somehow connect with my day and are nice, happy, and hopefully uplifting.
Today's quote:

This one reminds me of the time I had at mutual. I laughed pretty hard, to be honest. The laughter I've also had while watching America's Got Talent has been good too.
Another good day has come and gone.
